Celebrate Independence Day in Tulsa

New Orleans Square Block Party - Broken Arrow, OK

The weekend before Independence Day, the annual New Orleans Square Block Party offers two days of fun and festivities in Broken Arrow. Within walking distance of many Broken Arrow Homes for Sale, this outdoor festival takes over New Orleans Square at the intersection of E 101st Street and S Elm Place from 6-10 p.m. on June 26 and 27. The event includes:

America's Birthday Bash - Tulsa, OK

Held at 7:30 p.m. on July 3, America's Birthday Bash is a musical salute to America performed by the Signature Symphony. The musicians will bring the stage to life with classics by composers such as John Williams and John Philip Sousa. Firecracker 5K - Tulsa, OK

For anyone who wants to start the 4th of July by getting some good exercise, there's still time to sign up for the Firecracker 5k. Now in its 24th year, the race includes a 5k, a fun run and walk, and a 5k stroller race, following a scenic course through Downtown Tulsa. The 5k starts at 7:30 a.m. at Santa Fe Square. Be sure to stick around after the race for the after-party with live music, food, and drinks.

Folds of Honor FreedomFest - Tulsa, OK

Tulsa's premier Independence Day party, Folds of Honor FreedomFest, has been an annual tradition since 1976. The festival takes place at Tulsa's River Parks along the banks of the Arkansas River, offering a day of games, activities, and tasty concessions, culminating in Tulsa's largest free fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. The fireworks launch from the 21st Street Bridge, and the nearby parks offer plenty of room for lawn chairs and picnic blankets. 

Jenks Boomfest - Jenks, OK

Jenks Boomfest, hosted by the Oklahoma Aquarium, offers another opportunity to experience a high-energy fireworks show on Independence Day. Located near many Jenks homes for sale, the aquarium offers interactive activities and exhibits throughout the day, followed by Boomfest from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. After the aquarium closes, guests will be treated to a spectacular display of fireworks. 

Red, White, and BOOM - Owasso, OK

Owasso's Red, White & BOOM 2026 fireworks display is slated for 9:30 p.m. on the 4th of July, with fireworks being launched from the Owasso Golf and Athletic Club. Head to nearby Redbud Festival Park early for the pre-show, featuring food trucks, live music, and family activities from 7-9 p.m. The fireworks will be visible from locations across the city, including these Owasso Homes for Sale.
